What it supports

  • Accepts DOCX files and outputs PDF. DOC, DOCM, DOTX, ODT and RTF are not accepted on this page; use Word to PDF for other supported document formats.
  • Uses metric-compatible replacements for Calibri, Cambria, Arial and Times New Roman to help preserve the layout; line and page breaks can still differ.
  • The PDF has real, selectable text with links and bookmarks.
  • Use an up-to-date Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari browser with WebAssembly and Canvas support. There is no paid file-size limit; practical size depends on your device memory.
  • Charts, SmartArt, equations, embedded fonts and complex layouts may differ from Word. Check text, page breaks and symbols after conversion.

Privacy note

Your files are processed locally in your browser and downloaded directly to your device. File contents and file names are not uploaded. Internet access loads application code, engines and fonts. Keep your originals until you have checked the result.

FAQ

Are my files uploaded?

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your files are read from your device and the result is saved back to it; nothing is sent to a server.

Will my PDF look exactly like Word?

Layout and page breaks can differ from Word. Charts, SmartArt graphics and equations may not convert as expected. The result screen warns about some detected features, but may not detect every occurrence. Check the PDF even if no warning appears.

Why does the first conversion take longer?

Your browser downloads the document engine and fonts. Later conversions can reuse cached files, but downloads may be needed again if the cache is cleared.

Can I convert password-protected documents?

Yes. Enter the password when asked; it is only used inside your browser.

Is this tool free without signing up?

Yes. No account, subscription, daily quota or paid batch limit is required. Large files and batches depend on available browser memory.

Does this work offline?

Load the page and required engines or fonts while online. Some operations can then continue offline in the open tab, but a reload or a new format may need another download. Offline availability is not guaranteed.
