Questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your files are read from your device and the result is saved back to it; nothing is sent to a server.
Will my images look worse?
At the Balanced setting most photos look the same to the eye. Use Higher quality for images you plan to edit or print.
Why did an image not get smaller?
Some images are already well compressed. When the compressed result would be the same size or larger, we keep your original file.
Does it change the dimensions?
Only if you set a longest side. Otherwise the width and height stay the same.
