Are my files uploaded?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your files are read from your device and the result is saved back to it; nothing is sent to a server.
What is a HEIC file?
HEIC is the photo format iPhones and Macs use by default. It is small, but many apps and websites do not accept it, so converting to JPG makes photos easy to share.
Is the location of my photo kept?
Location and camera data are removed by default. Leave Keep camera and location data off when sharing photos you do not want to identify by location.
Which quality should I choose?
85 is a useful starting point for everyday sharing. Compare the result with the original, and choose a higher quality if you need more detail.
