  3. 3

What it supports

  • Accepts one PDF. Split by individual pages, ranges, fixed page counts or selected thumbnails. Splitting by target file size or bookmarks is not supported.
  • Split into single pages, custom ranges like 1-3, 5, or parts of N pages.
  • Pick pages from thumbnails to extract them into one new PDF.
  • Download each file, or all of them as one .zip.
  • Use an up-to-date Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari browser with WebAssembly and Canvas support. There is no paid file-size limit; practical size depends on your device memory.

Privacy note

Your files are processed locally in your browser and downloaded directly to your device. File contents and file names are not uploaded. Internet access loads application code, engines and fonts. Keep your originals until you have checked the result.

FAQ

Are my files uploaded?

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your files are read from your device and the result is saved back to it; nothing is sent to a server.

How do I extract just a few pages?

Choose Pick pages, click the pages you want, then select Split PDF. You get one PDF with only those pages.

Can I split a PDF into files under a target size?

No. This splitter divides by pages and page ranges, not by a target number of kilobytes or megabytes.

Does splitting reduce quality?

No. Pages are copied as they are; text, images and fonts are not re-compressed.

Is this tool free without signing up?

Yes. No account, subscription, daily quota or paid batch limit is required. Large files and batches depend on available browser memory.

Does this work offline?

Load the page and required engines or fonts while online. Some operations can then continue offline in the open tab, but a reload or a new format may need another download. Offline availability is not guaranteed.
